BID 610 - Alvis

BID 610

Oh, do I remember the hours setting the plug boards for this baby! The day shift doing long days had to set up all the boards for the next working day (less your supervisior, two guys for the box, guys with assorted excuses, guys on sick leave, guys on annual leave, and just plain lack of staff...I remember it for the longest time it being just me and Hughie...and Hugie did the blacks, only the blacks, every day - how many sets? 12 boards, at Hugie's pace with me doing the yellows, reds and oranges. Those were the days. Hey, if you did have a few more hands, it was a nice time to chat.
